My children have been patients at this dental office for years, and until this experience, we’ve never had any major issues. The dentist has always provided quality care, which is why we’ve continued trusting this practice with our children. Unfortunately, my most recent experience completely changed my perception. At our appointment in April, I personally brought my daughters in. Before leaving, I told the woman at the front desk that their mother would call back later to schedule the next appointment. She acknowledged that, and no appointment was scheduled while I was there. Fast forward to today, when I received a call to confirm an appointment that neither I nor their mother had ever made. When I explained that no appointment had been scheduled, I was first told it had been made during our April visit. I explained that couldn’t be true because I was the one at the appointment and specifically declined to schedule the next visit. I was then told that their mother had called back later to make the appointment, which I also know did not happen. Instead of trying to understand what went wrong, the representative immediately became argumentative and hostile. She told me that bec

I will not be bringing my children back to this practice. My oldest son is autistic and does not do well at the dentist, and never has. Now that he is older he is a bit more comfortable, but we still always came during their “special needs” appointment windows so he would be less overwhelmed. When we started bringing my younger son, who is Black, we were told bc he was autistic he would need to be restrained. I refused. He has never been aggressive or combative. Other than a couple of flinches or small reactions like bringing his hand to his face (completely normal for a 2/3yo) he behaved perfectly. He laid in my lap and caused no problems. At the next appointment they took him and my husband into another room while I handled my other children, and when we were leaving my husband informed me they fully restrained him in a papoose. He was extremely upset and had a hard time calming down afterwards. The next time we went I told them we would not be restraining him, and they begrudgingly agreed. Again, he acted totally fine and had 0 issues while i held him. As I was checking out and making our next appointment, the receptionist told me that my son would HAVE to be restrained at his n

We are so appreciative of the care my daughter, 8 years old, received from Dr. Karina that we wanted to share our experience for other parents who may be in a similar situation. Before coming to Wonderland, we visited five different dentists. All of them recommended IV sedation or general anesthesia for just two tooth extractions, and four of them also referred us to a dental surgeon. For obvious reasons, we were hesitant about putting our daughter under anesthesia for such a procedure. We heard about Dr. Karina and Wonderland Pediatric Dentistry through a friend whose daughter is also a patient there and who spoke very highly of the practice. Before scheduling IV sedation elsewhere, we decided to give Wonderland a try — and we are so glad we did. From the very beginning, our experience was excellent. The front office staff was calm, kind, and very helpful. Mr. Sergei, the operations manager, guided us professionally through the entire process. The waiting room is compact, welcoming, and thoughtfully equipped with a play area, TV, and coffee machine.
